Hello, this is part 1 of my first ever review! Today I will be reviewing 5 items from Sheinside!
Since my posts will be long and I have 5 items to review I will be separating this post into 5 different parts. This post will contain my experience with Sheinside as well as my review for their Blue Round Neck Short Sleeve Ruffle Dress. The rest of my items that I will be reviewing will be included in their own individual posts.

Shipping and Customer Service
Once I had ordered my items it took exactly 7 business days for Sheinside to process my order. It was shipped the day after processing was complete. I live in California, so it took 10 days for my package to arrive. It was very speedy!
My package arrived in a standard plastic bag that's typical for anything you purchase online. All the items were folded neatly within their own individual bags inside the larger bag. They needed ironing but this is typical since they were bunched up in a bag for over a week. I also had a ring ordered (a gift for my mom) that was packaged in a small bubble wrap envelope, which contained the ring in yet another small layer of bubble wrap inside of a small plastic jewelry bag. A few items have stray thread strings hanging around but all of them are in good condition.
When I was trying to get the 50% discount through Facebook referrals, I had some issues and was able to communicate live with online help staff. The woman who assisted me was very friendly and helpful. I am confident that if i have issues with orders in the future I will be able to contact Sheinside staff with any concerns in the future and be met with a nice, reasonable response.
The only other issue I had was with the parcel after it had been shipped. Instead of going through UPS (which is only the mail delivery service displayed on the site's footer bar) my package ended up going through the US Postal Service, which made my package arrive at my PO Box instead of my house. I was afraid the package wouldn't get delivered to me since my PO Box was not given to Sheinside but luckily my post office was able to determine that it belonged to me so there was no unnecessary stress. I acknowledge this is most likely the fault of the postal service rather than Sheinside. Phew!

Okay, on to my first item!

This dress in person is a little different than the picture. The picture shows this dress to be a baby blue, or perhaps a pastel blue. In person, the blue is actually more of a darker color than either of those. It is not very far off, so it's acceptable (I later figured out that photographs make the color appear lighter in pictures than in actuality). Also, the bow is in fact a separate ribbon that you must tie yourself. The dress on it's own does not have a ruffle quality, that comes when you tie the ribbon around your waist. It also seemed to me that the collar would be lower than it is in real life. I expected a scoop neck collar but it is more similar to a crew neck collar.
The material of the dress is a lot different than I was expecting. The pictures given by Sheinside make the dress appear to be smooth, soft material. The actual material is rough and textured, and it appears to be almost like a cheap dishcloth. It's pretty thin and see-through, so be careful. I was not expecting to like the feel of it on my skin but it is not an irritable material, in fact it is quite comfortable. This dress made me feel cool and I would highly recommend it for hot months. The material is actually very interesting to look at and makes the dress appear rather quirky-cute.
My measurements are 36" 26" 36", and even though this is a M/L size in the US it is an XL size in Asia, so I ordered the XL size. It fits really nicely and the length is not too short, it reaches the middle of my thigh, which for me is a comfortable enough length. For others, I would recommend shorts or leggings underneath this dress. I will probably wear shorts under this dress to avert prying eyes.
Overall, it's a pretty cute dress, but definitely not worth the price ($21 USD) because of the quality of material.
